Whispering Willow Park
Whispering Willow Park is a small park adjacent to the Town Center Shopping Center. There is a nice boardwalk with benches where you can sit and look into the large whispering willow tree or into the dogwood for small birds. Lyon Creek crosses this park at its eastern boundary.
What Do I Need to Know Before Visiting?
There are a few parking spots along 44th Ave NE or just park at the Town Center and walk over. There is a wonderful, locally owned frozen yogurt shop nearby (Swirl), if you're hankering for a post-birding treat.
What Will I see Here?
House Finches, Black-capped Chickadees, American Crows, and Dark-eyed Juncos are ever-present. Look up for raptor flyovers.
